About Sandra Ford
Sandra Ford is an award winning, full time professional photographer and a qualified Master Photographer.
In the early 1980s Sandra opened her first high street premises in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The studio was successful and relocated to larger premises just 12 months later. In 1985 Sandra married and moved to Scotland a year later, leaving the studio. After a considerable time away, Sandra came back to the profession in 2004 when returning home to the UK, after spending seven years in South Africa.
Sandra approaches her work with enthusiasm and care, and feels very privileged to have been able to pick up once again on a career that she is so passionate about. The developments within the industry in the intervening years, and the technology now available have only served to heighten her enthusiasm and creativity.
Sandra and her team of female photographers use Canon professional digital cameras and lenses, and she personally oversees every step of the production process from image capture to handover of artwork; ensuring the highest quality and consistency throughout.
The studio takes up an impressive space in Ryhill Village, being spread over three buildings. It consists of a welcoming reception area, ground floor main portrait studio, a dedicated newborn studio, two viewing lounges and a dedicated hair and make-up salon. The studio is situated on the main road through the village, it is just 5 minutes from Nostell Priory which is very well sign posted and is immediately next to the public car park off Mill Lane.
